Refund policy

Warranty:

Products are covered by a three-year legal warranty against any lack of conformity, in accordance with the provisions of the General Law for the Defense of Consumers and Users (Royal Legislative Decree 7/2021 of April 27, which amends the consolidated text of said law).
According to this regulation, the consumer has the right to file a claim with the seller for any lack of conformity that exists in the product at the time of delivery, following the terms and conditions established by law.

If the lack of conformity appears within the first two years, it is presumed that the defect already existed at the time of delivery, unless proven otherwise or if this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the product or the type of nonconformity.

If the lack of conformity arises after the first two years, the customer must demonstrate that the defect is of original manufacture for it to be covered by the legal warranty.

To obtain warranty service, the purchase invoice must be presented. All rights granted to consumers and users by applicable law are guaranteed.

Failure to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions may result in the return of products or the cancellation of services purchased by the Customer.

If the purchase is made by a business in the course of its commercial activity, the buyer who inspects the goods upon receipt and is satisfied shall not have the right to claim against MAKEAT for defects in quantity or quality of the goods, in accordance with Article 336 of the Royal Decree of August 22, 1885, which publishes the Commercial Code.

However, the buyer may claim against MAKEAT for defects in the quantity or quality of the goods received, provided that the claim is made within four days of receipt and the defect is not due to accidental damage, inherent defect of the goods, or fraud.

The buyer has a period of thirty days from delivery of the product to file a claim based on internal defects of the sold item, as provided in Article 342 of the Commercial Code.

Additionally, MAKEAT informs the buyer that they are entitled to the legal remedies provided by law, as long as the claim is made within the time limits established in this section, pursuant to Article 345 of the Commercial Code.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Makeat product, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund or exchange. Please contact us at info@makeat.tech to initiate the return process.

To be eligible for a return, the product must be in its original, unused condition and include all original packaging and accessories. Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets our return criteria. If approved, your refund will be processed within 14 days.

Makeat will cover the return shipping costs for customers within the EU. Customers outside the EU will be responsible for their own return shipping costs. We also reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet our return criteria.

Legal Notice

All warranty claims and returns are subject to Spanish and European laws. Any dispute between Makeat and our customers will be resolved in accordance with Spanish and European legislation.
